Graphic Design Studio App Reviews

I have removed and reloaded this app after it continually cashed at during the opening cycle. Still with the re-installation the app continues to crash without going beyond the opening cycle. Thats a bummer and I would not recommend it. Using Mountain Lion.

Would be great if the application opened! It crashes every single time - total waste!

Its slow, i was looking for a cheap quick solution to make some banners. total waste of my money.

the program kept freezing on the simplest tasks. im running 8gb of ram, and programs like finalcut and photshop dont even jerk around like this. wouldnt buy this again and wouldnt recomend it to anyone else.

While Im not a professional graphic designer, Ive been using vector-based design programs to make technical illustrations for twenty years. The developers have disregarded decades of best practices, as if they had never used a graphic design program prior to creating their own. Its very frustrating. The only thing I use it for is for the artistic brush strokes. If I need that effect, I create my illustrations in another program (EazyDraw), pull them into Graphic Design Studio to get the effect I want, then return to EazyDraw. For that functionality, the program is worth $3. More frustratingly, I wrote to the company with an issue about their online forums and got a canned response telling me to re-download the program. How was THAT supposed to address an issue related to their online forums? Who knows. But "James N." checked off my support ticket as "closed." Conclusion: Dont buy this program unless you have very specific needs. Dont pay more than $3. Dont expect useful tech support.

The app is just okay. However, do not expect faster editing in using this app. There are functions that make the app run slow and before you know it, youre work will quit because it doesnt respond anymore.

Just bought the app, but havent been able to use it yet since every time i attempt to open it it just crashed..

Its useless for me, which is too bad because it looks like its what Ive been looking for.

The program is stuck open on my Mac as I type. Will NOT close. Will not allow me to restart my Mac or shut it down. It is acting like a virus. DO NOT BUY! DO NOT INSTALL!

App crashes when trying to open any of the template please fix,very raw app,I not advice to buy.

Wont open any new or existing documents. Crashes as soon as you attempt to do so.

As a 25 year plus Mac user I have never experienced any app that was above an alpha level app that operates as poorly as this one. My all time fav. vector app was Freehand, I now use Illustrator mainly. I was looking for an app that would be light and easy to use. This app would be just what I was looking for if it worked. The problems with it are overwhelming. I own two different Macs both running 10.8.2. I have 12 gb of ram on one and 8 on the other. This app should run great but it doesnt. It does crazy things when I try and zoom in. The tools dont behave as expected and the undo feature has a mind of its own. There is nothing I can say good about it. I understand it is only a few bucks. I would have had more enjoyment in lighting the money on fire. A complete waste of time, effort and $3.

Thank god this is only $2.99. This program is useless. It is increadibly hard to use and has no instructions in the help menu. I was able to get more use out of the "Paint" program in 1990. Thanks for nothing.

This is a total waste. After about 20 seconds when open, it automatically shuts down. Cant use at all.

Everytime I open up the app, I cant even do anything. It just automatically crashes! If I could rate the app 0 stars I would!

this program was terrible… i downloaded it in hopes to do a project for one of my classes… every minute it would crash and i would have to restart my computer… i kept loosing my work… most of the premade graphics would crash my computer when i tryed to use them… i dont recomend this to anyone this program is terrible…. biggest waste of money and cost me a letter grade in class becasue i couldnt complete my project

Great buy for $2.99 IF it would work. It crashes everytime I start it. $2.99 is TOO MUCH for an app that does NOT work at ALL! I read the reviews and it appeared that the bugs were fixed but apparently not.
