Badly designed program with poor technical support

While Im not a professional graphic designer, Ive been using vector-based design programs to make technical illustrations for twenty years. The developers have disregarded decades of best practices, as if they had never used a graphic design program prior to creating their own. Its very frustrating. The only thing I use it for is for the artistic brush strokes. If I need that effect, I create my illustrations in another program (EazyDraw), pull them into Graphic Design Studio to get the effect I want, then return to EazyDraw. For that functionality, the program is worth $3.

More frustratingly, I wrote to the company with an issue about their online forums and got a canned response telling me to re-download the program. How was THAT supposed to address an issue related to their online forums? Who knows. But "James N." checked off my support ticket as "closed."

Conclusion: Dont buy this program unless you have very specific needs. Dont pay more than $3. Dont expect useful tech support.
